The Inuit Girl by Somolekha

The land called...

The one stolen from our people
Our ancestors are in pain
Frozen white in eternity
It wasn't the defeat, it was the pride
That needed to be avenged
Long many years have passed
I don't stay in an igloo anymore
But have made myself like you to reach you
Am a simple Inuit girl, don't have much to claim
The land called, I need it back for my people
It's not about history, it's for posterity
