আজানে নিকানো উঠোন

শিশুদের খোলা খোলা চোখ

কলরব ফেলে

উড়ে গেছে নেভানো পাহাড়ের দিকে

কোনও দিন ফিরবে না আর

হা ফিলিস্তিন, হা হাহাকার

The azaan rakes this yard

Children’s wide-open eyes

Shed commotion 

Fly toward the quenched hills

Never to return

Oh Philistine, oh, this lament
