Stormy by Swan Bay
Bibaswan Palchaudhury aka Swan Bay started his musical journey as a singer-songwriter almost two decades back. At a very young age, his colonial hangover and immense love for Rock N Roll and Brit Invasion, made him migrate to the UK, which he reckons as his second home. His first Bangla Alternative group Jack Rabbit's full-length album ‘Ananya’ got released worldwide in 2010. In 2013, he penned songs and sang for a Bengali feature film named ‘Neel-lohit’. Nowadays, his Chiang Mai based Classic Rock Band, ‘Swan Bay Rock’, plays all around Thailand at the top-notch venues like Hard Rock Cafe, Cha Cha Bar, 7 Pounds and ThaPae East. Last year, the band’s debut EP ‘Songs for Pam’ got released digitally worldwide. Their latest EP 'Lovelution' has been scheduled to release on Halloween, 2021.
Inspired by legendary artists like Cat Stevens, Al Stuart, The Band, Led Zeppelin, and authors like J R R Tolkien, Swan Bay considers himself as an ‘olden storyteller’, who infuses elements of folklore and fantasies with classic rock to create his own musical narratives. 'Stormy' is one of those many tales, a birthday prayer, which is written and composed for his beloved Pamela Haban.

Stormy (Lyrics)
Strange faces gather 'round the sun
Tears of rage... as the morning yawns
A girl who wishes never to return
She's counting days... with dreams undone
And the day her Guardian Angel flies into her town
Her shackles will be crumbling to the ground
Then she could tame the monster deep deep down
With her Stormy eyes, she embarks upon
Memoirs and jitters on her mind
The cavalcades and sleepless nights
A lover boy with his skyful of rhymes
Who sings and prances to her healing lights
And when your Guardian Angel calls you to her arms
The shadows will be fleeing while they burn
Then you could heal the monster deep deep down
With your Stormy skies, you embark upon
Emblems of gold and silver once you had found
But you never ever had the riddles learned
Turn on the pages of those slain and drowned
And then play on... the starlit songs
And when your Guardian Angel calls you to her arms
The shadows will be fleeing while they burn
Then you could heal the monster deep deep down
With your Stormy skies, you embark upon
And the day her Guardian Angel flies into her town
Her shackles will be crumbling to the ground
Then she could tame the monster deep deep down
With her Stormy eyes, she embarks upon
