Blue Bed Sheets

We were happy.

Gravity was as light as feathers and

We pranced around pastures.

Now I’m heavy.

I remember being a dream and

I remember wanting more.

Experiments

Sample death with me.

We will stay

For a simple second.

Once you have

You will understand that

It’s not that bad.

There is no pain

Or fear of falling.

You are not insane and

You never lose your looks.

Maybe death is the

Blessing and life

Is the curse.

Time

Time is like

A lump of gold but

You never get

To hold the lump.

Mr Rabbit

The portly rabbit bumbles

Around the innocent field.

He is surely king of

The little mound he

Bounces around.

Oh, how he snuffles.

His little nose twitches

As if he has sniffed out

Truffles.

Then he eats his own faeces.

Such an odd species.
